Books & Literary Works: The Black Testament Trilogy
Exploring identity, choices, and the complexity of the human experience through storytelling.

I am the author of The Black Testament Trilogy, a literary series that examines the human condition, challenges assumptions, and sparks deeper conversations about the forces that shape our lives. My writing blends lived experience, social analysis, and years of engagement with communities impacted by systemic barriers.

I believe stories can reach people in ways traditional advocacy cannot—creating unique spaces to examine identity, power, morality, and transformation.

Literary Offerings:

  • The Black Testament Trilogy (Books)

  • Author talks, book discussions, and club engagements

  • Literary presentations and moderated conversations

  • Educational and community-based storytelling workshops

  • Speaking engagements on writing, identity, and personal transformation

This literary work is a direct extension of my broader commitment to education, storytelling, and creating spaces for meaningful dialogue.

Speaking, Training & Facilitation
Turning lived experience, education, and professional practice into action.

I deliver keynote speeches, professional training, workshops, and facilitated conversations for universities, correctional institutions, nonprofits, government agencies, and community groups.

My journey from incarceration to UC Berkeley—where I earned degrees in Sociology and Social Welfare and am now pursuing my Master of Social Welfare—shapes my approach to leadership and community transformation. Drawing on my work with Berkeley Underground Scholars, Rising Scholars at City College of San Francisco, and the Ubuntu Justice Initiative, I design programs that challenge assumptions, share practical knowledge, and spark systemic change.

Services:

  • Keynote speaking and conference presentations

  • Professional development and leadership workshops

  • Restorative justice training and facilitation

  • Trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices

  • Reentry, rehabilitation, and higher education advocacy

  • Youth leadership and personal development programming

  • Violence prevention and community healing discussions

  • Panel moderation and community dialogue facilitation

Each tailored engagement focuses on authentic dialogue, practical learning, and the vital link between individual transformation and systemic progress.
